Christine McGarraugh
After receiving a BS-Advertising/Public Relations degree from Texas Christian University in 1992, Christine spent the first decade of her career with a focus on marketing in companies from Southwest Airlines to the nationally recognized advertising agency, The Martin Agency. Leaving the corporate world, her career took a more entrepreneurial turn as she co-founded McAvian Aircraft Supply, an aviation parts manufacturer. After growing the business, it was sold to a division of Boeing.
For the past ten years, she has overseen the government compliance as well as the liability, healthcare, and workers comp insurance of a regional transportation and logistics company which she co-founded.
Cody McGarraugh
I was raised on a Texas Panhandle farm and ranch and remain actively involved with the farm today. My upbringing has molded my hands-on work ethic and mechanically focused mindset. That mindset led to my early passion for aviation. I started flying lessons while in high school and finished my initial ratings shortly after college. Since, I have accumulated over 3,500 hours of flight time as an instrument-rated multi-engine pilot.
My professional journey started at Texas Christian University receiving a BS degree in Economics and a Business minor. For more than 25 years thereafter, I have worked with a myriad of companies from those in their infancy start-up phase, to others in a mature slow growth phase. I have led finance and administration functions with an $80 million budget, as well as sales and marketing organizations focused on B2B sales and direct to consumer sales. Operationally, I have managed nationwide freight logistics, to manufacturing flow, to fulfillment/call center operations. For the past ten years, crisis management and complex operational issues have been central to my daily life. The common denominator amongst these varied experiences has been my ability to step into any circumstance and provide high-level decisive leadership, strategic direction and operational energy.
Mary McGarraugh
Mary has spent most of her career involved in the world of small business. She was raised on her family’s farm and ranchin Perryton, Texas, where she remains active to this day. As a young adult, Mary worked in the medical field and in education. From there, she became the co-owner of a successful remodeling business, which she had for many years. For the past decade, Mary has worked in nearly every aspect of her family’s regional trucking and logistics company. Beginning her transportation career out on the road as a driver, she eventually purchased a truck and trailer of her own which she leased on to the company. At that time, she transitioned into the business office where she worked as an accounting manager, overseeing accounts payable and receivable as well as payroll for employees and owner operators. Mary also worked with Big Rig Fleet Service, a DOT inspection station and repair shop. There, she also focused on accounting functions as well as being a licensed DOT inspector.
